Peer Link

Peer Link LogoThe PeerLINK Program is designed to match a State Certified Peer Specialist, who has had experience in the recovery process and in negotiating the mental health and substance abuse treatment system, with peers in crisis or who will soon be discharged from local psychiatric hospitals and treatment centers.  The primary function of the program is the development of a supportive and trusting relationship between the consumer and the Peer Support Specialist.  Peer mentoring, support, advocacy, and skill building will be provided for these peers through regular individual contact over a nine month period.
